GSCVA Overview
About GSCVA
GSCVA is a bi-partisan, statewide, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting New Hampshire's environment by
making it a priority for our elected leaders.
Why GSCVA
GSCVA was formed to support pro-environment candidates for political office at election time, hold state legislators accountable for their votes and inform
the public about key environmental issues under debate by the legislature.
For decades, the New Hampshire conservation community has spent millions of dollars on environmental education and land protection and hundreds of
thousands of dollars advocating for environmental protection in Concord; this work must continue. But during elections we have devoted little or no
resources to defend New Hampshire's natural resources.
Our Goal
To Accomplish Our Goal We
- Engage in election-related activities
- Conduct public education and legislative advocacy with respect to environmental and conservation policies and issues
- Provide training in legislative and electoral skills
GSCVA works in concert with members of New Hampshire's environmental community to identify and highlight important bills impacting our air, water,
wildlife, open space, and our health.
